Gutter Guards

Stop climbing ladders. Stop cleaning gutters. Protect your home from water damage.

Are Gutter Guards Worth It in Georgia?

For most Georgia homes surrounded by trees, yes. Georgia's combination of pine needles, oak leaves, sweet gum balls, and spring pollen creates significant gutter clogging risk. Without guards, gutters need cleaning 2–4 times per year. With quality micro-mesh guards, annual inspection is usually sufficient.

Guards also prevent the pest problems (bees, wasps, birds, mosquitoes) that come from standing water in clogged gutters — a real issue in Georgia's warm climate.

Gutter Guard Types We Install

Micro-Mesh Guards

The most effective option. Stainless steel mesh with openings small enough to block pine needles and shingle grit while allowing water flow.

Reverse Curve Guards

Water follows the curve into the gutter while debris falls off. Effective for leaves; less effective for pine needles.

Screen Guards

Aluminum screen over the gutter opening. Budget-friendly; handles large debris but may allow smaller material through.

Foam Inserts

Polyurethane foam fills the gutter allowing water through while blocking debris. Lowest cost; shorter lifespan.
